It wasn’t only a matter of liquidating innocent human beings. The ancient cities of Germany set alight by Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill were treasure houses of memory, artifact, art, architecture and culture: the veritable axis mundi of our civilization, incinerated with casual indifference. Few acts of imbecility could more certainly ensure the continued decline and fall of our civilization than to uphold these two crematory directors and cadaver stackers as “exemplars on the upward arc of humanity’s finest hour,” yet that is precisely what the “Conservative” movement in North America and Britain has undertaken in their miseducation of youth.
