September 15, 2006I am pleased to announce that Richard C. Barth, Ph.D., has been appointed the first Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Rich joined the department after twelve years with Motorola, Inc., mostly recently as corporate vice president for homeland security strategy.
