I only watched that show a couple times briefly. Looking at a guy who is at least a few years older than me, with that stupid hair "style" of his, it's more than I can take. That whole bunch, .............just painfull...........

I've only seen the commercials, and that's more than I can take.
BTW, I think the 80's poofed-up hair is an effort to make him look
taller. IIRC, he also wears elevator shoes. He's damn near a midget
without them. I've never watched the show, but have to wonder if
they take his short stature into account when choosing camera angles.

HONOLULU — TV reality star Duane "Dog" Chapman and two co-stars on his show were arrested early Thursday in Hawaii on charges of illegal detention and conspiracy in an alleged kidnapping three years ago in Mexico, U.S. Marshals said.

Chapman, his son Leland Chapman, and associate Timothy Chapman were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals on Thursday, said Marshals spokeswoman Nikki Credic in Washington.

Mona K. Wood, a publicist for the star of the popular A&E series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," said Chapman would be "vindicated."

"He arrests the bad guys -- and he is definitely not one of them," she said.

The charges stem from Chapman's capture of Max Factor heir Andrew Luster on June 18, 2003 in Puerto Villarta, Mexico.

Chapman's capture of Luster -- a serial rapist -- catapulted the bounty hunter to fame and led to the reality series on the A&E channel.

The three are being held in custody in Honolulu, and bail has not been set. They will face an extradition hearing to Mexico under terms of treaties between the U.S. and Mexico, Credic said.[/QUOTE]

That is ironic. I recently read a book by Michael Connelly about his days as a crime reporter and there was a section in it about how Mexico would never extradite their citizens who committed crimes in the LA area and then ran back to Mexico to hide. The LA police dept. had to form a squad that would go to Mexico themselves to retrieve these people b/c Mexico wouldn't cooperate and there were so many horrendous crimes committed by Mexicans who fled to Mexico they just couldn't let all these people escape. But now we're going to give one of ours to them when they won't help us out. Typical of this screwed up country of ours....

I enjoyed that show because it shows what a drug infested mud shithole Hawaii is. Sort of like an expanded version of that video of Chain in hawaii getting a baseball bat through his car window.
