Only able to find one mainstream media mention. A short scoffing blurb on CNBC.

Instagram and GMail are also experiencing outages.

One would think a global outage of the world's largest social media networks would warrant a little more media attention?

A few YouTubers are talking about it, however those videos seem to be produced by absolute morons and not by thoughtful people with any appreciable technical wherewithal or logical explaination for the outages.

If this is indeed the SHTF, then it is exactly as I'd imagine it to start.
