The Director of the Matrix Larry Wachowski is Now Lana Wachowski

The director of The Matrix movies, Larry Wachowski, is now Lana Wachowski, and has had a long-term relationship with dominatrix Ilsa Strix.

The Wachowski brothers Larry and Andy Wachowki burst on their scene with their phenomenally successful Matrix movies. There were known as the blue-collar, comic-book loving brothers from Chicago, who became Hollywood power players. There were truly a modern version of the American dream come true. The brothers, themselves, seemed like midwestern, Polish-American, straight-forward type guys. Larry Wachowski was married to his college sweetheart Thea, and ran a carpentry business with his brother before hitting it big in Hollywood.

But then strange rumors started swirling around the brothers, particularly around Larry Wachowski. First, there were news reports of his divorce with his wife Thea. And then even more strange, that he had taken up with a well-known San Francisco based dominatrix named Ilsa Strix. Strix, it was rumored, was the cause of the divorce between Larry and Thea. Ilsa Strix was a tall, blonde, nordic-looking woman who was the reigning queen of the underground dominatrix scene in San Francisco. Previously, there were videos of her floating around the internet of her torturing her various “slaves.” I don’t know if these videos are around anymore, which featured her performing extreme acts on her helpless clients. Her clientele, of course, was a little black book of rich and powerful men.

But it was said by her close associates, that even she was star-struck when Larry Wachowski, director of the world-famous Matrix movies, became one of her close clients. After becoming rich, Larry was said to have immersed himself in the world of sex-clubs, transvestitism, and sadomasochism. Ilsa and Larry were said to have become inseparable companions, which began the divorce between him and Thea.

Ilsa, it was believed, lead Larry into a world that he obviously wanted to know more about. He wanted to know more about the world, and Ilsa wanted a passport to a life of luxury and financial freedom. Rolling Stone Magazine did an in-depth article about Larry Wachowski, many years back, and they talked about how Larry wanted to be known as his alter-ego Lana. While these rumors were refuted by people who worked with him, it was undeniable the photos that were taken of him dressed as “Lana.” He obviously believed himself to be a woman and wanted to start transitioning from male-to-female. He is now credited professionally as Lana Wachoski, and it appears that he has fully acknowledged that he is transitioning. Although fiercely private, the brothers are again working on a film that is set to release in 2012. As Lana Wachowski, she has been described as an attractive six-foot-three-inch gal, with pleasant features and an indie fashion sense.
