FBI investigate alleged civil rights violations against students
COUSHATTA, La. -- The FBI is investigating allegations that the civil rights of nine black Red River Parish children were violated by a white school bus driver.
Mike Kinder, resident agent-in-charge of the FBI's Shreveport office, confirmed Wednesday that a civil rights violation allegation was made to his office. FBI Agent Ray Spoon interviewed some of the children's family members Tuesday.
"We're looking into it to see if an actual civil rights violation is involved," Kinder said.
The investigation will not be prolonged, he said. "But we do want to look at it for the best interest of the citizens."
[highlight]The inquiry stems from allegations made last week that all nine of the black children were assigned to the two rear seats of Delores Davis' school bus while white children filled the remaining seats _ sometimes with just one or two to a seat. [/highlight]
Davis, of the Martin community, was suspended without pay at least until the Red River School Board meets next week. Schools Superintendent Kay Easley has given Davis several options, including resigning or retiring. Davis has done neither so far.
The veteran bus driver told Easley the seat assignments were established last year and were not an attempt by her to segregate the students along racial lines.
"Regardless of the cause for the action, however, it cannot be tolerated," Easley said in a statement released last Friday.
The Red River Parish School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the situation.
Attempts to reach Iva Richmond and Janice Williams _ mothers of the nine children who filed the initial complaint with the Red River Parish School Board _ were unsuccessful.
Patricia Sessoms, Richmond's niece, declined comment Wednesday, referring all questions to the National Action Network, which was founded in 1991 by the Rev. Al Sharpton and other political and human rights activists. "They are our official spokesperson and legal representation," Sessoms said.
The Rev. Jarrett B. Maupin II, a NAN spokesman, said a representative of the group will attend Tuesday's School Board meeting.
"We do believe their civil rights have been violated," Maupin said of the children.
But he's not calling it a black-white issue. "It's an issue of right and wrong," Maupin said.
The safety of the nine children was compromised when they were assigned to two seats at the rear of the bus, he said. Seat assignments for students were discussed at a training session for the parish bus drivers, but a driver said the recent controversy was not the reason for the session.
"This meeting just happened to come at the time this other stuff was going on," driver John Moore said of Tuesday's hourlong session conducted by lawyer Jon Guice.

Maybe seating order was obtained from IQ; that would certainly
explain NIGger being in the back of the bus...
In addition to other reasons, such as; the ventilating system usually brings in fresh air
in the front of a vehicle and exhausts contaminated air at the rear.
NIGger and MUD gang trash destroy the country, while the FBI
looks into NIGgers seating in the back of a school bus.
Its not too hard to see which job would be more dangerous for
the FBI to do something about.

If I rode the school bus, I'd much prefer black savage ghouls be seated in front of the bus so I could keep an eye on them and hopefully have a few seconds of warning prior to being attacked.

No separation inside of the bus! A separate bus for the white kids and a bus for the niglets! That would solve the problem. Separate schools, colleges, works and countries. No more racism!

Ural, I'll go a step further, we need separate countries. Send them all back to Africa. Racism is inherent in human nature. We see acts of outright racism towards every group FROM every group all the time.
Even Jefferson and Lincoln have admitted that Whites and blacks don't mix.

Responsible White adults acting to protect White kids from marauding savages "cannot be tolerated"? Is that right? Has anyone asked the White parents if they agree?
We - the voluntary line-crossers - should be there to ask them - and represent their interests.
Incidents like this happen everyday across our country, and everyday they go by the boards, without hardly a ripple. And the hapless White line-crosser is left to twist in the wind, at the tender mercies of our enemy, alone. While the local Whites in the community get the message, sit down and shut up - and the culture slides yet another notch down into the judeo-slime of the Kwa.
In the wake of such an opportunity I would ask, which would be more effective descending on this scene: a ragtag assortment of disorganized costumed nazis ("terrorists") or an organized team of lawyers, spokesmen, activists, lobbyists - everything in the bag of tricks this mob of yids showed up with http://www.adl.org/ADLHistory/1913_1920.asp - bearing a class action lawsuit brought against the school district and bus line for willful failure to provide a safe environment for our children. And a shitload of other lawsuits and righteous indignation.
Which would have more practical effect and conscience-raising effect?
If we cant be there to rally our people around such opportunities and welcome the line-crossers and provide support, explanations and represent our legitimate demands then we have only ourselves to blame for their continuation.
