Jean Kleckner, of Reading, was arraigned Thursday after allegedly admitting she had inappropriate sexual contact with a teenage girl.
The 47-year-old was the head coach for the Muhlenberg Junior High Field Hockey team at the time of the alleged abuse, and also served as a substitute teacher for the Muhlenberg School District. That's the same district the victim attended, according to authorities.
Detectives say Kleckner was a family friend of the victim and the abuse began in 2008, when the girl was just 16.
The first incident allegedly happened on a camping trip where Kleckner is accused of supplying the teenager with alcohol. Detectives say the abuse then started happening on a regular basis at Kleckner's home.
