In a story we posted earlier called ”Mighty Mouse-Emanuel”, we made reference to the irony from President Obama’s visit to the Fort Hood Memorial while sending his delegate, Rahm Emanuel, to attend the annual United Jewish Communities (UJC) conference on the President’s behalf. We alluded to the obvious irony. As Obama attended the memorial honoring the men and women who died at Fort Hood, after an army psychiatrist, Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim son of Palestinian parents, allegedly shot and killed 13 and wounded dozens more, Mighty Mouse Emanuel was telling his brethren, that the U.S. Israel bond is unbreakable.

It occurred to us that not everyone caught the irony. So allow us to explain. First of all, we had already learned that Hasan was being watched before the shooting. We know that the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is still investigating Hasan. We knew early on that Federal authorities were aware that Hasan had been in direct contact with an Islamic cleric that was “sympathetic to al-Qaeda” and a “radical”. But no one is calling Hasan a terrorist or officially calling the Fort Hood murders an act of terrorism. And to be clear, neither am I.

The irony is and should be the fact that on the very same day that the U.S. Government, via the “The Second-Most Powerful Man in Washington”, told a room full of Jews that the U.S. is and always will be “Israel’s one true friend.” Going on and on from there, even saying Israel is a “beacon of democracy in a region too often defined by strife.” We have been talking about the absurdity of that premise for weeks now; Years in fact.

More recently, we have talked about how Israel and the United States are scrambling around trying to downplay a United Nations investigation which resulted in the finding of potential “war crimes” by Israel in the Palestinian, Gaza Strip. Read our articles around the ”Goldstone Report”.

On the very same day that Mighty Mouse Emanuel was pledging Americas allegiance to Israel, the President was mourning the victims at Fort Hood. The victims of a mass-murder, apparently committed by a man who is the son of Palestinian parents, with family still in Palestine, a man claiming his nationality as Palestinian, despite being born in the United States.

That is the irony! And again, I am not asserting Hasan is a terrorist anymore than the government is willing to, at least officially. If I were the government, I would not want to make any connection between U.S. foreign policy towards Israel and any act of violence in this country.

But we have been getting comments about some of our omissions when we talk about Israel and the Palestinians, but specifically Hamas. It seems that we give the impression that we dismiss Hamas “terrorism” and focus only on Israeli actions.

From that perspective, I suppose we do offer the politically-incorrect version and perspective. But somebody needs to. All of us already get enough of the politically correct version from the mass media. That is the version we have heard for our entire lives; the Israel is our “friend” and the “beacon of democracy” nonsense.

But I also do not share the same sentiment about what is or what is not “terrorism”. Or at least I try to understand what might drive a people to this extreme. I try to think about it. If you take away everything a people have, if you deprive them of their land, of fresh water, and of adequate security for them and their family, if you give them no other way to fight back, they will resort to extreme, desperate measures. There are no rules or protocol when you are fighting for your people’s survival.

Israel has been promoting, supporting, and carrying out terrorism and political assassinations since the land the Jews occupy was stolen from the Palestinians and given to them sixty years ago (made possible to a large part by the U.S. Government, I might add). You will not hear that from Wolf Blitzer and his tribe, but you really do not have to look very hard to prove it for yourself. They have had more than one prime ministers that were considered national war heroes because of their success at being state-sponsored terrorist. See what groups like Amenity International, you know, the anti-Semitic humanitarian organization that it is, has to say about Israeli atrocities.

When you look at all of the terrorism that has been conducted on U.S. soil, you will not find that these acts were committed by men who would be considered legally insane or lunatics. I am not saying what they did is good or acceptable; I am saying they had full control of their upper faculties. Whether it was the attacks of 911 or any of the other acts of terrorism carried out in this country, it was not the result of irrational psychopaths. It was, in every case, men that felt they had no other way to effectively fight back. It was, in every case, the result of men who were striking back at the policies of our government and they were holding all Americans accountable.

I am not condoning any act of terrorism but I do understand why we are being held accountable. And by now, we should all understand why. That much should be obvious to all of us, or at least those of us that are not buying the lies of our government and the media. All you really have to do is listen and pay attention to what those who are bringing the fight to America have to say.
