-->We're looking at forum performance now trying to figure out which tweak it was that we applied in order to coax VNNF to run on the last server that's making it perform poorly on this one. There is no indication that it is the server itself. Far from it, as our performance logs tell us we have much headroom. Now to configure things to where we use it. It may take a couple of hours or a couple of days.

-->This is a far better setup than the hackneyed junk we were on before. We're on our own VPS now, which means much more is in our hands.

-->Thank Varg. He was up until 5am babysitting a database import. Like all men, I love being right, and I was spot-on in hiring him.

-->1-stAmendment sucked right up until the end. Even today I was being told that our backups were forthcoming--right up until it was admitted that they had none. Now the story is that they'll give us our raw database files. That remains to be seen. Fingers are crossed. Until then, we are missing the first two weeks of Jan's postings, rep points, etc.
