German police infested with neo-Nazis?
FRANKFURT, Germany, March 14 (UPI) -- A leading German Jewish official has been protected by police agents linked with the German neo-Nazi scene, according to news reports.
Michel Friedman, a former top official with Germany's Central Council of Jews and now a prominent political TV talk show host, has been protected by several neo-Nazi police agents, the German daily Bild reported Wednesday.
Authorities found photos in which one agent, of the Frankfurt police force, posed in a Hitler-era SS uniform. Another agent had an illegal Nazi song stored on his hard drive.

The Nazi connections surfaced when authorities investigated the agents on embezzlement allegations.
