There's a big difference from people being killed by conventional shelling, collateral damage, etc. and the willful destruction of entire european cities by fleets of airplanes. Your analogy is the one that's inappropriate, professor. First you make the statment that you wouldn't be proud about hearing U.S. soldiers blowing away children. Then when faced with the fact that they did indeed murder children and worse, you say "well its war, fuck em people die in war". So which is it, are murdered children a tragedy or just statistics?
