The "The Newsmax 2012 Election Special," hosted by Michael Reagan, son of former President Ronald Reagan, will air on "major broadcast outlets" in Iowa throughout the weekend, according to the publication.

In the special, Reagan suggests Gingrich is the candidate to carry on the legacy of his father.

"We are featuring a person that we believe will help continue my father's vision," Reagan says. "A man who fought in Congress for my father's programs. A man who believes that President Obama's vision for America is a dangerous one, and must be stopped and reversed. We believe that person in Newt Gingrich."
