War-protesting Fort Lewis officer doesn't deploy with his unit

Lt. Ehren Watada
A Fort Lewis-based officer who declared that he would not accompany his unit to Iraq followed his promise this morning.
Lt. Ehren Watada was not present when his battalion, part of the 3rd Brigade 2nd Infantry Division, gathered at 5:13 a.m. Instead, Watada remained within his headquarters building.
Watada, who joined the Army in 2003, said he came believe the Iraq war was illegal and immoral, and he had a duty not to follow orders.
No charges against Watada will be filed until the commander has had a chance to review all of the facts of the case and consult with military lawyers, according to a news release issued by the Army.
Meanwhile, Watada has been ordered to remain on duty, with some limitations on his pass privileges, pending further instructions from his chain of command. He has been ordered not to leave Fort Lewis.
The other soldiers in Watada's unit departed on schedule this morning, "honoring their obligation to the nation as thousands of soldiers have done before," according to the Army.
About 4,000 Soldiers of Fort Lewis' 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division will serve a year tour of duty in Iraq.

I actually did search for this one, unfortunately I don’t speak Aryan Ebonics.
You spend to much time of VNNF to know every thread. That was quick being that I just posted this a few minutes ago.

LoL that story just happened to be at the last of the new posts, yours at the top of the next one. As for being the one to catch some of your double and triple posts, I just have the memory of a good white man.

I hit the get new search function and it didn’t appear that way on my computer or on the “this just in” forum.
I have a life outside of VNNF.

I hit the get new search function and it didn’t appear that way on my computer or on the “this just in” forum.
I have a life outside of VNNF.
Really?? I have managed less than 350 posts in a year and I think I spend too much time on here. You have on the other hand have 6500 in 2 years. Who spends more time where??

Five hours and no come-back. Did you put sean's pilot-light out? It seems he can't come up with a flame.

Unlike some people I don’t sit on VNNF all day. Usually when I am on VNNF I am doing something else.
Here is the comeback you so desperately want. No need for flame just some simple truth.
Sure I post often on VNNF but I don’t hang around reading every single post or thread. A high post count doesn’t mean I spend a lot of time here. I am sure there are many lurkers who are not even members of the forum that spend more time reading VNNF than I do.
Now you may have to wait until tomorrow for another comeback because I will be busy all evening.

This story was on the Seattle news channel this afternoon. As soon as I saw the guy, I knew why he wasn't in the brig [or whatever the military use as a jail]
This is a real dilemma for the kikes, how to discipline this guy, & yet still appear to be the watchdog/friend of all minorities.
