Actually, this post doesn't belong in the news section. Because, it's nothing new, here. If the parents would only go after those who let these freaks out and lynch them in an excruciating manner, maybe the next ones will carefully reconsider repeating such prison releases.

The Freak's resume(translation in bold print):

"...3. November 1981: sexueller Missbrauch von Kindern. Urteil: 1 Jahr Jugendstrafe, Kolbig war erst 17 Jahre alt(1 year juvenile punishment for sexual assault on child/children. Not mentioned, here, if sentence was carried out in incarceration or on probation).

14. Juli 1983: sexueller Missbrauch von Kindern. Urteil: 6 Monate auf Bewährung(Now an adult, he gets 6 months probation for sexual assault on child/children. Why he gets off lighter, as an adult, the 2nd time around is beyond me).

14. März 1985: sexueller Missbrauch von Kindern. Urteil: 2,5 Jahre Haft(sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for sexual assault on child/children. I doubt he would have survived that long in an American prison where he belongs).

6. Juli 1989: sexueller Missbrauch von Kindern. Urteil: 3 Jahre Haft. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird Kolbig nach DDR-Strafrecht verurteilt(3 year sentence for sexual assault on child/children presided by then West German court. I didn't notice that he was previously prosecuted under East German law. Such crimes were kept from public view, there, so as not to reveal that such problems existed in a communist society).

23. Februar1998: Kolbig holte sich den kleinen Patrick (11), der an einem See in Leipzig angelte. Er zog ihm die Hose runter. Der Junge schrie um Hilfe, Kolbig floh. Urteil: 2 Jahre Haft...("reunited" German court sentences for attempting repeat crime to a 1/3 discount of only 2 years").
