A Hungarian parliament member has been arrested for setting fire to an Israeli flag during an anti-Zionist demonstration in the capital city of Budapest.

"Police arrested the independent MP Balazs Lenhardt for burning an Israeli flag at a protest on Friday evening," police said in a statement.

According to media reports, around 100 people took part in the demonstration, some of whom shouted "anti-Semitic" ( Just the same old canard. ) slogans as the flag burned. ...
