David Irving goes on trial in Austria today on charges of holohoax denial - a crime so heinous it is punishable by up to ten years' imprisonment.
Apparently security for the trial is being handled by anti-terrorist police because of "fears neo-Nazis will attempt to hijack the proceedings". Apparently this is why a security zone has been thrown around the state court, manhole covers welded shut and bomb sniffing dogs deployed.
According to his lawyer, Irving has received more than 300 letters a week in support and apparently is working on a book tentatively titled "Irving's War".
Irving, 67, was arrested last November at gunpoint in what appears to have been a setup - an apparent "routine" check on a highway in Austria on a 1989 warrant issued by a Vienna court against him for having "denied" at meetings in Austria that the Germans used gas chambers in concentration camps.
.
BBC was talking about it as well as Radio Australia. He was the most engaging speaker I have ever seen. That sure is a short time between arrest and trial.
News reports claim Irving plans to plead guilty, announce his belief in the holofaith and throw himself on the mercy of the court. Needless to say, we know who writes the news so we'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see.

I for one would not be surprised if Irving "recanted" and will now support the holyhoax.
This is exactly what the Zionists want.
Now, maybe I'm being paranoid here, but if he does recant his heretical views, is he doing this because he doesn't want to spent years in a ZOG jail, or because it's part of some dastardly ZOG plan?
For myself, I rather think he will plead guilty because he lacks the will to endure years in jail on behalf of the truth. But I could be wrong...
Shades of Galileo here. When the Catholic church wanted Galileo to recant all they did was show him the torture instruments. Not surprisingly he did recant. But more importantly, history has vindicated Galileo's claim. I believe history will do the same with Irving regardless of what he says under duress.
.
The smart thing for Irving is to do the maximum he can to stay out of jail. He's a lot more useful to everybody out of jail where he can be free to write, speak and tour.
If he recants and professes a belief in the holycaust I think all of us would understand. But he is a strong man and superb speaker. I think he'll make a good showing in court.
Good luck to him.
Your land is only what you can take and hold.

I disagree. It seems he has recanted - and this is surely what ZOG wants.
The sensible, the honorable, thing to do would have been to stay true to the truth. I don't understand his dishonor here.
It does seem that he has buckled under pressure - and this will be of great benefit to our enemies.
Holohoax? Holohoax???
Not according to David Irving. To him, it happened exactly as the Jews said it happened, and Irving is happy to back them up. Six million jews were gassed, say the jews, and if you attempt to deny that to Irving's face, he's more than likely to spit in your face or knock your teeth out with his fist.
Because you see, everything's all right now...
David Irving loves Big Brother now.
This is James West speaking. I know you're out there, moderators. Undo the ban, man. Linder needs me for his next cover, and I'm the only one who can do it right.
Irving has given the Zionists what they want -
Asked if he admitted the existence of the Holocaust, he replied: "I would call it the Jewish tragedy in World War II."
"Yes, there were gas chambers," he said. "Millions of Jews died, there is no question. I don't know the figures. I'm not an expert on the Holocaust."
Of his guilty plea, he told reporters: "I have no choice."
Yes, he DID have a choice - plead not guilty; deny the holyhoax; and generate massive publicity regarding the truth.
But - he gave in; and has denied the truth.
Is that spineless, or what?
By his actions, David Irving now joins the Hall of Shame. Never again will he be able to speak about the "holohoax" with out being laughed off the podium as he's slapped in his lying face with rotten tomatoes. He forever joins losers and liars like Erich Gliebe, Kevin Strom, David Duke, Don Black, Bill White, Erica Hardwick, and so many, many more.
David Irving has just been tossed into the waste bin of history. He is forgotten, even as others move onward in clean and righteous battle.

None of us wish to spend time in jail, why should Mr Irving be any different? My advice to him would be to play there little game, and walk away hopefully a free man.
Once he walks away he can get back to spreading the truth. He should not worry about his reputation, the man has sought to spread the truth for many years.
I disagree.
You should stand up for what you believe in - for the truth - whatever threats are made or even if you have to go to jail.
If you do what Irving's doing - saying sorry and trying to show "remorse" - you dishonor yourself and all those who strive to uphold the truth against the tyranny of ZOG.
Until we can find people to take a stand - whatever happens to them - we won't get far in breaking the holy myth of the holocaust.
Irving deserves our condemnation for what he's now doing.
Our cause is more important that our individual freedom - and even more important than our individual lives.

Spineless?
What the fuck has Irving's predicament got to do with you? You some kind of lawyer are you?
And how many times have you been locked up for denying the holohoax Rhadley?
The only spinelessness comes from the keyboard activists who are pretty good at telling others what they should or should not be saying, but for some reason never get out in public where the Jew can take a good shot at them and say it all themselves!
I take it that you and Jim West will be outside the Austrian embassy in protest - or better still, fly to Austria and do it. Then you'll be able to lead by example and show us all how it's meant to be done.

He's 67, if a man that old can't stand up for the truth then he hasn't got any respect for himself or the ideas he has been developing for decades. If Irving backs down now he is a total loser and should be abandoned by all of us.
"Since New York City is Jew-Town, 9-11 is simply another fake Holocaust"

Historian David Irving Pleads Guilty to Denying Holocaust
Monday, February 20, 2006
VIENNA, Austria — A right-wing British historian said Monday he would plead guilty to criminal charges of denying the Holocaust as his trial opened in Vienna.
David Irving, 67, told reporters he now acknowledges that the Nazis systematically slaughtered Jews during World War II.
"History is like a constantly changing tree," he said as an eight-member jury and a panel of three judges prepared to hear charges that could put him behind bars for up to 10 years.
Irving has been in custody since his arrest in November on charges stemming from two speeches he gave in Austria in 1989 in which he was accused of denying the Nazis' extermination of 6 million Jews.
A verdict could come later Monday.
Irving's trial comes amid new — and fierce — debate over freedom of expression in Europe, where the printing and reprinting of unflattering cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad has triggered violent protests worldwide.
Irving's lawyer, Elmar Kresbach, said last month the controversial Third Reich historian was getting up to 300 pieces of fan mail a week from supporters around the world, and that while in detention he was writing his memoirs under the working title "Irving's War."
Irving was arrested Nov. 11 in the southern Austrian province of Styria on a warrant issued in 1989. He was charged under a federal law that makes it a crime to publicly diminish, deny or justify the Holocaust.
Irving had tried to win his provisional release on $24,000 bail, but a Vienna court refused, saying it considered him a flight risk.
Within two weeks of his arrest, he asserted through his lawyer that he had come to acknowledge the existence of Nazi-era gas chambers.
In the past, however, he has claimed that Adolf Hitler knew little if anything about the Holocaust, and has been quoted as saying there was "not one shred of evidence" the Nazis carried out their "Final Solution" to exterminate the Jewish population on such a massive scale.
Vienna's national court, where the trial is being held, ordered the balcony gallery closed to prevent projectiles from being thrown down at the bench, the newspaper Die Presse reported Sunday.
It quoted officials as saying they were bracing for Irving's supporters to give him the Nazi salute or shout out pro-Hitler slogans during the trial, which will continue into Tuesday if a verdict is not reached on Monday.
Irving is the author of nearly 30 books, including "Hitler's War," which challenges the extent of the Holocaust, and has contended most of those who died at concentration camps such as Auschwitz succumbed to diseases such as typhus rather than execution.
In 2000, Irving sued American Holocaust scholar Deborah Lipstadt for libel in a British court, but lost. The presiding judge in that case, Charles Gray, wrote that Irving was "an active Holocaust denier ... anti-Semitic and racist."
Irving has had numerous run-ins with the law over the years.
In 1992, a judge in Germany fined him the equivalent of $6,000 for publicly insisting the Nazi gas chambers at Auschwitz were a hoax.
Thank you for pointing out Mr Irvings age, 67. There is no guarantee that he would survive ten years in jail.
You want him to spend the rest of his life in jail?
Sorry, itz too much to ask.
So he repudiates his life's work? Why not just plead guilty as charged, rather than announce your conversion to a holojew? And remember, Austrian jails aren't like Attica or Angola - you're not going to be the only White man in your cell block, and 10 years in Europe really means 2 or 3 with early parole.
