This is a great point. It has been shown many times that happiness levels off fairly quickly once a certain material threshold is passed.
Thank you for this excellent link.
"Microsoft is Israeli almost as much it is American"[INDENT] —Steve Balmer, Jewish CEO for Microsoft[/INDENT]
I think it's been "shown" both ways - once basic needs have been met, money makes no difference to happiness (see Paul McCartney "divorce news") and also that the main thing that makes people unhappy is thinking that somebody else has undeservedly gotten "more" than they did, in other words, that they have been cheated. I think the history of property law, wills, etc. all revolves around the second point, the very basic human sense of justice.

What good is a crystal-clear, flat-screen TV when all you have to watch is niggerball and MTV? The central error of this article is that it looks at our world in purely economic terms. The reason our parents had it better is because they lived in a Whiter, brighter world, and all the gadgets in the world cannot make up for the fact that our White culture and race is on its death bed. Previous generations had White art, White thought, and White community. We have jew art, jew thought, and the multi cult. Their world had value. Ours - not so much.
I went to the Detroit Auto Show in 1968, for the 1st time. I remember [being a typical young male of the time] looking at the Corvette Stingrays, they sure were nice with the big, non-pollution control motors.
Anyhow, I still remember reading what it said in the program I bought. There was a section with the list prices of all the American cars, the Corvette listed at............................[plus / minus $100]
........$3,800 for the hardtop
........$4,300 for the convertable
What do they cost now? I also don't remember seeing blacks, Jews, Jewish females passing as white, etc. etc, as being the only people on t.v. There was still such a thing as a white [not a Jew pretending to be] male.
I started sacking groceries in 1956 (50 cents/hour) and by 1960 I had saved up $350 which was just enough to pay for my 1st semester of college at a state run all male military school (tuition, books, meals, laundry, dorm, game tickets, uniforms, the whole shebang!). Within 10 years, when my younger brother went to the same school, the cost was over $2000, but, they had coeds, air conditioning, and military was optional. By now, it is prohibitively costly.
The point is: in the 50's and 60's you COULD get a GOOD college education without mortgaging your future (no student loan needed). Now, you either have rich parents or you pay for years after you finish - and you can't even count on getting a good job.
I didn't mind not having air conditioning, nor a car to fool around in, nor girls to chase - I went there for an education, after all. And lots of top companies came during graduation looking to hire us because they figured that those of us who stuck it out would probably make good employees.
We've lost A LOT in the last 50 years, even though today's machines are far more advanced that I ever expected to see in my lifetime. We no longer have any expectation of a social contract that values each of us as an important part of our nation - we are fodder and expendable - sheep to be fleeced, and the fleecers get away scot-free (in the words of Al Gore: "no controlling authority"). I pity the younger ones coming up.
A couple of points:
* Much of today's wealth is directly attributable to the incredible success of petroleum geologists in finding what oil there was to find. They are even better at their jobs now than then, able to find a needle in a haystack (but it is still, now, just a needle). This was, for a time, an incredible inheritance, spent freely by both consumer and corporation alike with no thought for the morrow.
* One of FDR's Four Freedoms was "Freedom From Fear." Nobody who lives in one of today's multi-cult metropolises has that anymore. It's gone.
Once the oil starts to become scarce, there goes "Freedom From Want." We are already losing, thanks to the Jews, "Freedom of Speech and Expression," since for all practical purposes free speech has little value without the ability to be heard, and only what's "Good for Jews" can get a sustained hearing in our own country, in spite of the First Amendment, which has been interpreted by Talmudic lawyers to mean "Jews can produce whatever filth they want, and no one can stop them" as well as "Jews are to be free from encountering all religious expressions in the public sphere."
One reason so many economists are Jews is because so many Jews are unable to conceive of any other measure of "quality of life" than money, and so fascinated are they by the subject that they produce innumerable monologues, often consisting of little more than mental masturbation, on how to measure the value of things, including the "value" of the goyim.
How is the faithful city become an harlot! It was full of judgment: righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers. Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water. Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards.

Well and succinctly put.
