Giles is a well meaning person but he has zero debate skills and is therefore a liability to the Cause, imho. If he would read some books (like Dr. Pierce said everybody should do BEFORE becoming a leader) and become knowledgable about racial issues as well as Duke and Rounder then I'd have a lot more respect for him. For now I'll just consider him a yahoo.
It is interesting tho that so many voted for him.

25,000 votes would have won the district. 1,334 is still pretty good though. He benefitted from the fact that he ran as an independent and that the Democrats conceded the election and didn't bother to run a candidate.

25,000 votes would have won the district. 1,334 is still pretty good though. He benefitted from the fact that he ran as an independent and that the Democrats conceded the election and didn't bother to run a candidate.

Wrong, your link is for Madison county only. Giles received 1,334 votes in Madison but for all the counties totaled in the Mississippi Third Congressional District Giles got over 25,000.

That's what, in military terms, two and a half divisions?
Could be that there are more WN's in Ol' Miss than National Guardsmen and State Police combined.

I am currently living in the district that he was running for (Starkville, MS) but I couldn't vote for him. He went to my current university, Mississippi State!
