[Bill: Anyone who can explain the details of what happened here, please email me at answp@nazi.org. I am so outside of the Ku Klux Klan and the sickness of anti-Nazi CI fanaticism that I don't know what to make of this:]

Protesters boo Klansmen in Selmer

SELMER — Klansmen from Mississippi and Georgia rallied outside the McNairy County Courthouse today while dozens of white and black protesters screamed and booed at them.

Speakers, including leaders of the Mississippi White Knights and Georgia Knight Riders, identified local sex offenders and spoke against Hispanic immigration. They also accused the crowd of being brainwashed by a Jewish-operated conspiracy that controls the media and banking and covers up crimes committed against whites by other races.

Protesters, many of them young and from Selmer, held up signs calling the Klansmen cowards and erupted when the Klansmen screamed, "White power!" Many screamed for the Klansmen to leave town; several others often broke out into chants of "Obama! Obama! Obama!"

Richard Green, the Mississippi White Knights' imperial wizard, called white protesters "race traitors" and thanked them for "making fools of themselves."

Police in riot gear — many carrying clubs, some carrying shotguns — kept watch on the event. One woman was briefly handcuffed after the event for cursing at police.

Selmer Mayor David Robinson and McNairy County Mayor Jai Templeton released a statement today denouncing the Klan's message and thanking police for keeping the rally safe.

A National Geographic documentary crew followed the Klansmen, who had rallied earlier in the day in Pontotoc, Miss. A Neo Nazi Klan group wanted to join the rally, but were told to leave by Georgia Klansmen.

"We don't believe in Nazism," said Jeff Jones, imperial wizard of the Georgia Knight Riders. "We believe in the pure Ku Klux Klan, as it was in 1922."
