I read Clusterfucknation, James Howard Kunstler's website on peak oil and suburban sprawl. He's written decently on both topics. Politically, he likes Obama and despises Bush, and most of his response comes from left whites who hate Bush, being white, 'Nazis', 'NASCAR idiots'...you know the crowd.
Monday, he had a big screed on Iran. How we have to go to war with Iran, how Israel will do it and we have to back them up, and again, how Islamic
radicals have to be slapped down...and the response from his fans was NEGATIVE. Out of thirty replies, only ONE supported him, and a couple even said no war for Jews. The next day, I noticed Kunstler pulled his blog in favor of one denouncing the Fed and warning of a crisis with the Freddy and Fanny Maes...more typical Kunstler. I was impressed by the leftie's hatred of ANY war to wipe out Iran or save Israel. Of course, without Jewish backing the left is nowhere, but it might be some comfort to see they want no war to save Israel, and can see through the Neo-conning. Of course, they still like it when he talks of 'corn-pone Nazis' sprouting up in the heartland. But the Wigger threat can be handled.
