How much more progress can we possibly stand?

Houston, Texas — Houston’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities will now be open to all, regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, or other predilection of gender behavior. By an 11-6 vote of the Houston City Council, Mayor Annise Parker achieved this as the crowning jewel of her tenure as mayor.

Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, said passing this ordinance was not the most important thing she has done in office, according to an article in the Fairfield Citizen, but it is the “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”

Houston Council Member, At Large Position 3, Michael Kubosh took exception to this. Kubosh told KPRC TV, “It’s going to criminalize people that have been found in violation in the ordinance and the fine could be between $500 to $5,000.”

The cancer of political correctness has now reached a terminal stage.

Garner Ted Yuengling Says:June 6th, 2014 at 6:56 pmSo, if you go shower with the girls, and you are judged to be not an authentic transgender, you can be fined?

Girls: “Um, we don’t think he is an authentic transgender. He seemed to be oogling us in the shower! Can you fine him several hundred dollars?”

I need a Yuengling. A six-pack, actually.

Garner Ted Yuengling Says:June 6th, 2014 at 7:15 pmFurthermore:

“Officer, I was taking a shower with the other girls in the yoga class, and then this naked man comes in with us!”

“It’s OK, ma’am. He is a registered trans-sexual.”

“I don’t care if he thinks he’s Joan of Arc; I don’t want to shower with a man!”

“Ma’am, that sounds like hate-speech to me. I would ask you to tone it down, or I will have to arrest you.”

Courtney from Alabama Says:June 6th, 2014 at 7:36 pmI find it interesting that a gay female mayor wanted this, considering how lesbians seem to be the most likely to label men as predators any chance they get.

Of course, something like this will only allow the worst among us to take advantage of entering opposite gender dressing areas.

As a side note, I have noticed from personal experience that most white men seem to be very gentleman-like when it comes to this. I have noticed that white cleaning men, painters, or pest control men have been very shy about entering women’s locker rooms even when they are given the “all clear” and it has been verified that the place is empty and they may enter. White men also seem to get very quickly embarrassed if they go into a women’s restroom accidentally.

Most of us who are good, decent, civilized people, won’t be acting on this. We are too afraid and too used to obeying societal rules and avoiding taboos, and not overstepping boundaries of decency.

As I said above, this will mostly benefit the worst among us……third world immigrant men, criminals, perverts etc…..

Michael Matyas Says:June 7th, 2014 at 12:00 amI hope if one of these attacks a woman in the showers the woman sues the crap out of the city!

more of the same Says:June 7th, 2014 at 9:01 amThe Political Correctness religion is made up of the stark, raving mad. Unfortunately, these are the same running and genociding our race.

Dachsie Says:June 7th, 2014 at 10:44 amThe offending clause in the Houston ordinance was deleted and not passed in the final passing of the ordinance.

The way I understand it, even if the clause was eliminated and not passed, if the person does not appear or look like the gender that the person identifies with, then the operator or owner of the facility can refuse to let the person enter that restroom. Restrooms will still be labeled Male and Female,.
