His arrest, trial and conviction however raise numerous questions. Clearly this piece of shit didn't do anything that virtually every other Chicago Democrat does on a routine basis, so why was he made an example of?
Why was he arrested before the deal actually took place so they could get Jesse Jackson Jr. or whomever it was that was willing to buy the senate seat?
Blago does present the picture of a true sociopath and average American politician. A soulless crass whore with absolutely no talent or skill at anything yet rises to become governor of a state by virtue of his connections. Not content with such a do nothing job in which he wouldn't even need to touch his salary he craved more power and money. He truly believed he was entitled to more and was delusional enough to think he was a champion of the people.
