Note that it is never mentions fact that the fag is a homosexual or gay. Note the word pedophile is never used. Note the gender if the children being raped is never mentioned.
Note the neutral tone of the reporting.
But if somebody called his a fag, you can damn sure bet the would have the article filled with references to "homosexual", "gay", and hysterical claims of "bully".
Bail has been set at more than $1 million for former Sorrento mayor Wilson Longanecker Jr., 41, who was arrested last week on 40 counts of child pornography.
The Advocate [color="Blue"](a pedophile rights publication) reports state District Judge Jessie LeBlanc set the bail at $1,025,000. Longanecker remains in the Ascension Parish Jail in Donaldsonville.
Longanecker's arrest on October 23rd was the result of a joint investigation of the state Attorney General's Office Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, State Police and the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office.
Last week at Longanecker's home in Sorrento, authorities say investigators found 40 pornographic videos of children between the ages of 3 and 14 engaging in sexual activities or being posed in a sexual manner.
He was also charged with one count of obstruction of justice for attempting to hide evidence, prosecutors said.
'Crimes like this illustrate how important it is to actively, aggressively pursue those who exploit our children,' said Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell in a statement.
'I'm proud of the efforts of my Cyber Crime Unit and I thank our law enforcement officers who helped build the case. My office is fully committed to stopping this activity with the best technology available.'
Each of the 41 charges carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000 on each child porn count if convicted, the Louisiana Attorney General's Office said.
Longanecker tried to hide evidence while investigators were serving the search warrant,
The evidence law enforcement officers say they found in Longanecker's house is enough to make some people sick..
Longanecker, who operates a swimming pool business in Gonzales, served as mayor of Sorrento, about 50 miles northwest of New Orleans, from 2011 to 2013.
Longanecker caused controversy in his time as mayor for taking extended leaves of absence. He cited medical reasons for his lengthy disappearance from his position and lack of contact with council members or town workers.
He also stopped responding to emails, phone calls, and text messages.
After five months, Randy Anny — the man Longanecker, Jr. beat in the election by a single vote — had to step in and act as mayor pro tem in order to manage the city’s finances.
