Man Wanted to Infect Obama with HIV The man sent a letter soaked in his blood to Obama. He claims he only tried to help the administration.

A man from Chicago has been arrested because he attempted to infect U.S. President Barack Obama with his blood infected by the HIV virus, Fox reported. He also sent Obama’s staff envelopes with the infected blood.

The perpetrator is a citizen of Ethiopia, Saad Hussein. He sent the envelope soaked in blood to Obama’s office in Springfield. Along with the blood-soaked letter, the envelope contained an invitation to Obama’s electoral victory celebration and other documents.

The court established that Hussein is being treated for mental disorders. He admitted to police that he was very ill and had HIV which he wished to share with Obama by cutting the tips of his fingers and dripping blood on the letter.

But before the court, Hussein said he was in fact Obama’s fan who wanted to help the administration. He has had encounters with the Chicago police in 2006. He was attested for standing in the middle of a crossroad in Chicago, waiving a Koran in the air and yelling “God is great” in Arabic. He then called President Bush a terrorist and criticised America’s foreign policy.

This is the second time that somebody has tried to infect US citizens with the HIV virus by mail. The first incident happened in 2006 when a man infected with the virus put a vial filled with his blood into a mailbox. He was arrested and tried.
