Latino workers send $60 billion home

WASHINGTON -- Latin Americans working outside their countries will send $60 billion home this year, a 12 percent increase over 2005, the Inter-American Development Bank said Wednesday.
The bulk of the money, an estimated $45 billion, is being sent by the 12.6 million immigrants from Latin America who ship money home regularly from the United States, the organization said in a report based on surveys of immigrants in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.

Bank officials, who have been studying the flow of money since 2000, said the potential for the money fueling development south of the border is limited.

The estimated 30 million families receiving the money across Latin America usually have only limited access to banks and other means of saving, and they mostly use the cash for basic necessities.

''Much more needs to be done to leverage these resources, and, particularly, to provide transnational families with access to the financial system,'' bank President Luis Alberto Moreno said.

[highlight]To aid that effort, the Mexican government announced a push to offer loans for migrants in the U.S. to build homes in their native Mexico, in hopes they will return home eventually and meanwhile to create jobs in Mexico.[/highlight]

Not to mention that not one of those 12 million worthless pieces of shit pays a nickel in taxes on that $60 billion in income. Uncle sam is in bed with big business and knows he can always squeeze whitey for any tax shortfall. And while the illegals are busily sending every untaxed dollar they earn back to their slum dwelling kinfolk, you and I (the US taxpayer) are footing the bill for educating their kids (or at least trying to), covering the cost of all the free medical care they receive, paying for increased police force to try to stem the tidal wave of gang related violence they cause, picking up the tab for the expenses each time they decide to stage some 'march' and cause all sorts of delay and disruption to American citizens simply trying to get to work, watching our insurance rates go thru the roof because there are so many uninsured drivers on the road, having TB rates in this country skyrocket because they bring diseases with them and do not undergo a health check like legal immigrants, witnessing previously safe, stable white lower middle class neighborhoods hit the skids in a matter of a few years as they invade the place, watching ER after ER after ER be driven to close after being bankrupted by too many mexcriment who have no intention of ever paying one dime for the care they get, etc.
And they send THEIR money to Mexico! I love it! We should seize any mexican assets in this country and freeze all their bank accounts and use the money to PAY BACK the American people!
