A 12–1 vote from the Minneapolis City Council pushed a petition drive to replace Minneapolis’ police force with a department of public safety on the November ballot

So, they're going to vote to remove the police department as a whole. I really hope they do, if anything for all the nigger hijinx that will ensue. It really serves these nutballs right.

The main fallout to policies like this is that it forces many leftists (and non-whites) into more right wing areas.

On the other hand, why is it that the conservatives haven't been able to defend the ATF? Getting rid of the DOJ would be a huge win, and this really should be a big talking point because it was only after the Civil War that the Department of Justice was created. I don't know the details off hand, but I'm sure that the primary reason was to persecute political dissidents.
