Modern ‘Vikings’ Are on a Mission to Reclaim Runes From Nazis

The problem with stealing iconography from a culture known for their fierce warriors and epic battles is that they aren’t going to take it lying down, a lesson neo-Nazis are learning from modern day “Vikings” who practice the old pagan Norse ways and who are declaring war on fascists. Archaeological evidence is revealing ancient Norse societies were likely accepting of equality and diversity, and that going “a-viking” was more often amicable trading routes as opposed to pillaging and raiding. These global travels actually increased genetic diversity in the population a great deal due to intermingling with so many different societies. Modern day practitioners of the Norse pagan religion believe in equality for all, but what’s more they are willing to fight for it.

Modern ‘Vikings’ Are on a Mission to Reclaim Runes From Nazis

Modern “Vikings” who practice the Norse ways are calling on their warriors to attack neo-Nazis and their institutions - a very real threat from a religion that believes fighting honorable battles is the only way to gain entrance to Valhalla, the place good warriors go after death. These modern warriors have pointed to Antelope Hill Publishing as a Nazi target that needs to be eliminated. This American white nationalist publisher is located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and is known for translating historical Nazi writings as well as publishing new neo-Nazi works, sometimes under pseudonyms.

Many of these new Nazis are using symbols such as “Odin’s Cross”, a circle with a cross inside of it, and other originally Norse symbols as signs one supports fascist ideologies - and the real practitioners have declared it their mission to go after people using their sacred symbols to spread hatred and fear.

Attention is being drawn to the Nazi propaganda company as an ironic salute to their book banning and burning movements currently rampaging across America as they try to replace school and library books with modern-day Nazi material. Additionally, letters and words are considered a sacred gift from the god Odin who hung from the tree of life for nine days and nights with a spear piercing his side and when he was close to death the runes appeared to him on the trunk of Yggdrasil. Using the heavenly gift of written communication to spread lies and hate is a violation to those who follow Nordic paganism.
