A few minutes ago I went to move my car out of the garage. Neither my garbage, nor any of the set out garbage in the neighborhood had been picked up. This happens on holidays and it will be picked up tomorrow.

The problem was, I couldn't figure out what freaking holiday caused this. Even my skilled internet searches couldn't resolve this. Finally I called the City of Denver, and they told me.

Monday was Ceasar Chavez Day. Bet you didn't know. Apparently, none of my neighbors did either. Dumb white fucks. They all put their garbage out at 5:30 AM and went to work.
