EXETER — Grease, fat, gizzards, feet, chicken hearts, feathers and other visceral remains of a former kosher chicken processing plant were dumped into a tributary of the Schuylkill River at least 16 times since 2006, according to charges announced Friday by Attorney General Tom Corbett.
The two men allegedly responsible — Mayer Grunbaum, 48, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and David Weiszer, 59 of Allentown — face a maximum of 255 years in prison and $527,000 in fines if convicted, according to a release from Corbett's office.
