Argentina VP Cristina Fernández escapes assassination attempt unharmed after gun misfires; suspect arrested

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQtp1USYjcA"]Gun jams during bid to kill Argentina vice-president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner - BBC News [/ame]

A man was detained Thursday night after he aimed a handgun at point-blank range toward Argentina's politically powerful Vice President Cristina Fernández, and President Alberto Fernández said the assassination attempt failed because the gun did not fire.

Former Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva, who is a candidate in that nation’s presidential election next month, also expressed solidarity with Fernández, calling her a "victim of a fascist criminal who doesn’t know how to respect differences and diversity."

A disgruntled far-right extremist attempts to assassinate a prominent left-wing political leader on trial for corruption charges. An open and shut case? Not quite.

Gunman: 35-year-old Brazilian man Fernando Andre Sabag Montiel. Note the tattoo! I am not sure quite how Mossad recruit and groom their patsies but I am 100% certain this botched assassination is another Mossad directed false flag. For reasons I shall now explain.

Fernandez Faces Trial On Charges Of Covering Up Iran's Role In Bombing

March 06, 2018

Former Argentinian President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner will face trial on charges she covered up Iran's role in a 1994 bombing at a Jewish center in Buenos Aires that killed dozens, judicial authorities said.

Fernandez, who was president from 2007 to 2015, denies any wrongdoing or involvement in any cover-up involving Argentina's worst terror attack.

Bonadio in his ruling said he supported claims made by prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who led the investigation into the bombing before his death in 2015.

Nisman charged that Iranian and Hizballah officials involved in the attack were given assurances that they would escape prosecution in Argentina as part of a deal Fernandez reached with Tehran in 2013 in exchange for favorable deals on oil.

Nisman was found dead in his apartment with a bullet wound in his right temple four days after first making the allegations against Fernandez. His case remains unsolved.

Last year, an investigation by Argentina's border police agency concluded that Nisman was murdered, contradicting earlier official findings that Nisman likely killed himself.

President Cristina Fernández was prosecuted for refusing to accept that Iran was behind the 1994 AMIA bombing without proof.

Argentine court: Ex president did not cover up Iran role in AMIA bombing

October 19, 2021

An Argentine court dismissed allegations that former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner sought to cover up Iran’s role in a deadly 1994 terrorist attack at a Jewish centre .

The 1994 bombing of the AMIA building killed 85 people and injured hundreds. Iran has been accused of orchestrating the attack. Fernández de Kirchner, in turn, was indicted by a federal judge in 2018 for trying to obscure Iran’s culpability for the attack through a memorandum that set up a joint investigation of the bombing, headquartered in Tehran.

The allegations stem from the 2015 murder of prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who claimed in 2015 that Fernández de Kirchner had a secret backchannel with Iranian officials who were involved in the bombing and worked to keep them free of suspicion. He was later found dead in his apartment, hours before he was to present his findings in court. His death was eventually ruled a homicide, after being initially deemed a suicide.

President Cristina Fernández was found not guilty.

Court in Argentina Dismisses Charges Against Kirchner in Bombing Case
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/08/world/americas/cristina-fernandez-de-kirchner.html

BUENOS AIRES — A court in Argentina has dismissed a criminal case against Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner that accused her of conspiring with Iran to cover up that country’s suspected involvement in a 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires.

The bombing case stems from a memorandum of understanding Argentina and Iran signed in 2013. It called for the two countries to set up a joint commission to investigate the 1994 bombing of the Argentina Israelite Mutual Association, which killed 85 people.

The agreement would have allowed an Argentine judge to travel to Iran to interrogate those accused of planning the bombing, whom Tehran had refused to extradite.

The agreement never came into effect and was ultimately declared unconstitutional in 2015. Critics assailed Mrs. Kirchner for negotiating with a government that many Argentines suspected of shielding the masterminds of the attack. Iran has long denied any wrongdoing.

Bureaucratic trickery was used to prevent the truth coming out.

Argentine Prosecutor Suicided by Mossad?
https://americanfreepress.net/argentine-prosecutor-suicided-by-mossad/

The obvious assassination of an Argentinian prosecutor bent on proving the Islamic Republic of Iran’s responsibility in the 1994 bombing on the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA) building in Buenos Aires was clearly the work of Israel’s national intelligence agency, Mossad. Over the past two decades it has been shown that the attack, the deadliest bombing ever in Argentina, was the work of the Zionists, who were embroiled in a bitter political fight in Israel after the olive branch of peace was offered to the Palestinians by Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin.

The bombing of the Jewish Community Center, which killed 85 Jews and injured several hundred others, was the supposed work of a suicide bomber, and was immediately blamed on Iranian terrorists, although the alleged vehicle was never found and no evidence of Iran’s involvement was ever found.

The prosecutor, 51-year-old Natalio Alberto Nisman, was a Zionist Jew and the chief investigator of the 1994 bombing. On January 19, Nisman was found dead at his home in Buenos Aires the day before he was set to present evidence of his inquiry of the bombing to Argentina’s congress. He was found by his mother in a pool of blood next to a .22 caliber handgun dead from a single shot to his head. The gun belonged to his assistant who had lent it to him. Paraffin tests showed no gunshot residue on Nisman’s hands and there were no signs of a struggle. Nisman knew he had information that would create a stir, telling a reporter on January 14 that “I could be dead by the end of this.”

Argentina's Fernandez: Prosecutor's Death Was Not Suicide
https://www.voanews.com/a/reu-argentina-fernandez-says-prosecutor-death-was-not-suicide/2609668.html

BUENOS AIRES —
The death of a prosecutor investigating the bombing of a Jewish community center was not a suicide, as was initially reported, Argentine President Cristina Fernandez said on Thursday.

Alberto Nisman, lead investigator into the 1994 attack on the AMIA Jewish center that killed 85 people, was found dead in his apartment late Sunday, a 22 caliber pistol by his side.

He had accused Fernandez of trying to derail his investigation into the bombing and was due to present his case to Congress hours later on Monday.

The government says two men who Nisman believed were deeply involved in the alleged cover-up of the 1994 attack had been falsely presented to him as state intelligence agents.

Fernandez said the deception discredited Nisman's charges against her and points to a conspiracy to smear her name.

"They used him while he was alive and then they needed him dead," she said in a post on Facebook, adding that his death was "sad and terrible."

The article described how Israeli Mossad officers recruited operatives by impersonating US CIA agents. The Mossad officers were equipped with US passports and dollars, and recruitment activities occured "under the nose of US intelligence officers," including in London.

New version of Nisman's death supplied by ex Mossad agent directly involves Cristina Fernandez
https://en.mercopress.com/2020/06/14/new-version-of-nisman-s-death-supplied-by-ex-mossad-agent-directly-involves-cristina-fernandez

Israel’s Mossad provided the intelligence information that enabled Argentine prosecutor Alberto Nisman to prove that Iran orchestrated the 1994 AMIA terrorist bombing in Buenos Aires, in which 85 people were killed, an Israeli TV documentary claimed.

And an ex-Mossad agent gave Nisman incriminating information on former Argentine president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner’s alleged efforts to cover up Iran’s role in the blast, in a sequence of events that ultimately led to Nisman’s assassination, the program also said, according to a report from The Times of Israel.

"They used him while he was alive and then they needed him dead," she said in a post on Facebook, adding that his death was "sad and terrible."

Nisman's death not suicide but a plot against her government, alleges Cristina Fernandez
https://en.mercopress.com/2015/01/23/nisman-s-death-not-suicide-but-a-plot-against-her-government-alleges-cristina-fernandez

In her latest statement, Fernandez said two alleged state intelligence agents that Nisman had quoted in lodging his accusations ”NEVER belonged to the Intelligence Secretariat in any capacity.“

The two intelligence agents were Mossad posing as Argentine intelligence.

Timerman - himself a member of Argentina's Jewish community - reacted angrily to the accusations, labeling Nisman a liar and saying that the prosecutor allowed himself to be unduly influenced by Jaime Stiuso, recently fired as chief of operations for the intelligence service.

The shady history of Argentina’s Intelligence Secretariat
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/27/argentina-intelligence-secretariat-shady-history

On Monday night, Argentina’s president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, took the bold step of announcing a plan to dissolve the country’s Intelligence Secretariat and send to congress a draft bill for the “reform of Argentina’s intelligence service” in the wake of the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman nine days ago.

“But last October, when Fernández found out through military intelligence that Nisman was preparing charges against her for an alleged cover-up of Iran’s role in the bombing, she became understandably furious that Stiuso had not alerted her,” an intelligence source told the Guardian.

In an long statement posted to her website last week, Fernández seemed to make the case that Nisman’s accusation was actually written by Stiuso, and that Nisman was then killed by the same people who convinced him to present the charges. “They used him alive and then they needed him dead,” Fernández wrote. “As sad and as terrible as that.”

“Stiuso is an intelligence officer who follows commands to the letter,” says the intelligence source who worked on the Amia case. “But he was not prepared to betray his geopolitical alliance and put in jeopardy the great prestige he enjoyed with the western intelligence services.”

Four days later, and on the eve of testifying in court, where he promised decisive proof of the collusion, Nisman was found dead in his bathroom with a single shot to the head. His death reverberated around the world.

Immediately, Kirchner is accused of ordering Nisman’s murder. She denounces the man described in “The Prosecutor” as Argentina’s Rasputin, the fearsome Antonio Horacio “Jaime” Stiuso, a spy with close links to the CIA and Mossad, of conspiring against her.

Left, Prosecutor Alberto Nisman. Right, the Mossad agent Uzi Shaya.

The “Uvda” (Fact) documentary, broadcast Thursday night on Israel’s Channel 12, featured a lengthy interview with Uzi Shaya, a former Mossad agent who said he had extensive dealings with Nisman, and who acknowledged that documents he passed to Nisman, allegedly incriminating Kirchner, “may have caused his death.”

Case solved. Prosecutor Alberto Nisman was befriended by two Mossad intelligence agents pretending to be Argentine intelligence, introduced by Argentinian Intelligence Secretariat Jaime Stiuso. They gave Alberto Nisman 'evidence' implicating Cristina Fernandez involved in a cover-up on behalf of the Iranians. Then they 'suicided' him making it look like an Iranian hitjob with Cristina Fernandez implicated.

Mossad report: Hezbollah, not Iran, behind Argentina bombings

Iran was blamed for over 25 years. Why the sudden volte-face?

07-24-2022

An internal Mossad report about its investigation into major terrorist attacks against Jewish targets in Argentina in the 1990s reveals new details about the attacks and suggests that Hezbolah, not Iran, was behind them, the New York Times revealed on Friday.

According to the NYT report, by Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman, the Mossad reached the conclusion that Hezbollah was solely responsible for the attacks based on interviews with and investigations into alleged suspects. The Mossad report said that despite a widely-held belief that Iran was the driving force behind the attacks, there was no indication of any Iranian involvement.

The Mossad report contradicts what has been Israel's official position on the attacks, as well as the prevailing claim in Argentina that Hezbollah perpetrated the attacks at Iran's behest.

Mossad is very clearly linking Hezbollah with international terrorism while seemingly avoiding any direct antagonism with Iran. At least for now. Hence the new Mossad report absolving Iran of any blame. Why?

Hezbollah in South America? MOSSAD’s report presents a shocking picture
https://tfiglobalnews.com/2022/02/16/hezbollah-in-south-america-mossads-report-presents-a-shocking-picture/

Hezbollah’s presence in Colombia and South America as a whole is a consistently developing phenomenon, and its importance to the US and Israeli national security interests has long been contested. During Colombian President Ivan Duque’s state visit to Jerusalem in November, Israeli President Isaac Herzog was one of the leaders who expressed concern. According to reports, Duque and Bennett discussed the idea of working together on mutual security issues, particularly the Iranian threat.

Questions surrounding Hezbollah’s presence in South America resurfaced when a former Israeli official was the target of an assassination attempt in Colombia in November. In a government report addressed to the government, Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad linked the effort to Hezbollah. It was part of a plot to assassinate “a handful of high-profile foreigners,” including US diplomats.

It appears the Columbians are covertly working alongside Mossad on some nefarious activity.

Hezbollah planned to murder Israeli in Colombia to avenge Soleimani – report

Colombia has a sizable Lebanese community and Hezbollah has a presence in neighboring Venezuela as well as other Latin American countries. In addition, Hezbollah and Iran, its patron, have long been linked to the 1994 bombing that killed 85 people and injured hundreds at a Jewish center in Buenos Aires.

Mossad could be scheming another AMIA style bombing in Venezuela using Hezbollah supporters from the small Lebanese population living in Colombia.

Hezbollah is a threat to Latin America - opinion

Hezbollah has failed to carry out a successful, high-profile terrorist attack in the western hemisphere since the Argentinian Israelite Mutual Association center bombing in Buenos Aires in 1994. Some misconstrue this apparent absenteeism to mean they do not operate in the region.

AS HEZBOLLAH and the cartels are becoming more sophisticated, our response to them must as well. If you want to take down a criminal enterprise, go after the money. If we can expose patterns and separate TBML from legitimate trade, we can cripple Hezbollah, which will keep ourselves and our allies safer.

Iran and Hezbollah expands its influence in Latin America

SEP 02 2022

Iran, with the support of terrorist organization Hezbollah and pro-Iranian groups, is seeking to expand its ideological influence in Latin America through the internet, social networks, and meeting places, the study Propaganda, Narratives and Influence in Latin America: Iran, Hezbollah and Al-Tajammu, of Israel’s Reichman University International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) indicates.

Latin America is an area in which Iran seeks to expand its influence and scope of action, including narcotrafficking, money laundering, recruitment, proselytizing, and even terrorist attacks, the July 3 report says.

Biden’s Nuclear Deal: The Biggest Gift to World’s ‘Top State Sponsor of Terrorism’
https://www.jewishpress.com/indepth/opinions/bidens-nuclear-deal-the-biggest-gift-to-worlds-top-state-sponsor-of-terrorism/2022/09/05/

September 5, 2022

The Biden administration will more likely contribute to increasing tensions between Iran and other countries in the region, and lead to further regional insecurity, destabilization, humanitarian tragedies, and most likely a major war.

Biden’s new nuclear deal is the biggest gift that one could give to the world’s “top state sponsor of terrorism“: unlimited nuclear weapons, no inspections past present or future, the missiles to deliver them, enriched uranium to be held by Russia and returned to Iran or wherever they both decide, “$100 billion per year to spread terror around the globe” — in short, assured expansion of the “Revolution” not only throughout the Middle East but further, straight into America’s soft underbelly, Venezuela.

The Mossad have identified the lifting of sanctions on Iran 'an existential threat' to the security of Israel. Business contracts for gas and oil will mean Billions of Dollars in extra revenue for Iran. Israel, rightly or wrongly, believes much of this money will be funnelled to Hezbollah in Lebanon. If Iran signs the JCPOA agreement, Israel's legal options are limited.

A false flag provocation in similar size and scale to the 1994 bombings in Argentina would likely jeopardise trading relations between Venezuela and Iran. For example, if Mossad targeted the diaspora community in Caracas - just like they targeted the diaspora community of Buenos Aires. Except this time Hezbollah taking the blame. Even if Venezuela suspected Mossad was behind any attack, the global condemnation and domestic outrage would be so great, Venezuela would be forced to stop trading with Iran. It could also derail the JCPOA and/or used as a pretext to declare war on Lebanon.
