"A stranger pummeled a 29-year-old woman in an unprovoked attack on a Brooklyn train late last month, cops said.

The victim was standing on a Manhattan-bound Q train approaching Atlantic Avenue around 8:10 p.m. May 23 when a man – believed to be in his 60s – punched her multiple times in the face without saying a word, police said.

The assailant got off the train and fled, police said. Surveillance footage released late Thursday shows him leaving the station, passing through a turnstile."
