Florida: Burt Colucci, commander of the National Socialist Movement, has been convicted of misdemeanor battery but found not guilty of a "hate crime" enhancement which would have made the charge a felony.

The charges stemmed from an NSM demonstration in Orlando, Florida, in January 2022. David Newstat, a 19 year-old Jewish college student, attacked an elderly NSM member from behind, knocking him to the ground & breaking bones in his wrist & hand. Commander Colucci and other NSM personnel came to the defense of the injured National Socialist, and Newstat was sprayed with a chemical agent.

Mr. Colucci should never have been charged with any crime. Rather, Newstat should now be sitting in jail for assault on the elderly!
