Jury: Investigator must pay ex-death row inmate
It awards $2.25 million for fabricated confession

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia (AP) -- A federal jury on Friday awarded $2.25 million to a Virginia man who claimed a police investigator fabricated a rape and murder confession that sent him to death row.
Earl Washington Jr., who came within nine days of being executed, had sued the estate of the state police investigator, Curtis Reese Wilmore, who died in 1994. Jurors awarded Washington damages upon finding that Wilmore deliberately fabricated evidence that led to his conviction and death sentence.
"I feel great -- and happy," a smiling Washington said after the verdict.
Washington spent nearly 18 years in prison. He was pardoned in 2000 by then-Gov. Jim Gilmore after sophisticated DNA testing, unavailable at the time of the crime, linked a convicted rapist to the murder.
William G. Broaddus, an attorney for the Wilmore estate, declined to comment after the verdict, other than to say he is considering an appeal.

If the nigger was truly innocent then this is a fair result. I have never met a state trooper who was not a corrupt power mad asshole. (and I have 2 in my family) Theft and false statements are their stock in trade.

If the nigger was truly innocent then this is a fair result. I have never met a state trooper who was not a corrupt power mad asshole. (and I have 2 in my family) Theft and false statements are their stock in trade.

All police are NOT criminals and the idea is ridiculous.
Because there is a genetic predisposition in YOUR own personal family to be an ignorant criminal does not mean that this disease affect the entire group of actual REAL police who risk their lives to save others; even others as worthless as YOU.

Sure, sue the dead guy who can't defend his actions. Oh well, I seriously doubt a state troopers "estate" can come up with 2 mil.

1 Both of them entered the family by marriage, so genetics were not involved. The second married the daughter of the first, so her genetics might have been flawed by having a Zogling for a father.2 This observation was based on my knowledge of government employees in general. As a group they rival niggers as the most worthless class of people on the planet. As a matter of fact, government employees cause me more harm than any nigger ever has. No nigger has ever taken food from my child's mouth or clothes from her back, but with the excessive taxation that goes to pay your worthless ass, well I think even someone with your limited IQ can figure out the rest.
3 I have never taken one dime of money that I did not earn through free and voluntary exchange. No government employee can say that, including you SoS, you brag about living off the sweat of someone else's brow for your entire life. All government employees are thieves.
4 Cops do not protect me. My common sense, firearms, and dog do a nice job of that.
5 Yes I do have a problem with authority, it is my legacy from my free white ancestors. Men who on their own with no help from a government took this land I live on from savages. Men who might follow a leader, if he earns their respect, but spit in the face of a thug who demands tribute just because he has a badge.

Gunman Opens Fire, Kills Officer in Virginia Police Station

CHANTILLY, Va. — A gunman opened fire outside a suburban Washington, D.C., police station Monday, killing one officer and wounding two others before he was shot and killed at the scene, authorities said.
"A female detective, a 9-year veteran with the Fairfax County Police Department was pronounced dead at the hospital earlier this evening," said police Chief David Rorher, who did not identify the woman
A second officer was in serious condition and undergoing surgery late Monday night, while the third was treated for minor injuries.
The gunman opened fire in a back parking of the Sully District Station about 3:30 p.m., said Fairfax County police Officer Rich Henry.
"The suspect who they exchanged gun fire with is dead at the scene," said Mary Ann Jennings, a Fairfax County police spokeswoman. His identity was not released and a motive was not disclosed.
"It's going to be unraveling slowly," Jennings said. "We don't have a clue at this point. I'm sure some of the investigators are starting to put that together."

A childhood friend of Kennedy, Ryan Gwin, said Tuesday he couldn't believe Kennedy was responsible for the shootings.
He described him as having a "punk-gothic kind of thing going" in terms of his dress but said he had an eclectic group of friends.

Another cop gets killed, this one by a nigger who was robbing a bar in a section of Philly that used to be mostly Irish. Local news reported that there have been five cases in the last week where cops were shot at and in all five cars stopped by cops withing an hour of this shooting guns were found.

Photos Released In Cop Killing Case
Philadelphia police have released photos of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of an officer last night.
The grainy photos show a man wearing a ski mask holding two weapons. He was caught on a surveillance camera before he allegedly shot a police officer.
A manhunt is now on in the city's Frankford section after the officer was fatally shot while responding to a report of a robbery at a bar.
Squads of police officers are combing Frankford looking for evidence and the suspect in the fatal shooting.
Answering a call from inside that a robbery was in progress, police officer Gary Skerski, 46, and his partner arrived at the bar about 10 p.m. and split up, police said.
As Skerski headed toward the rear entrance, a man came out and fired a shotgun blast, striking him in the neck.
"This officer didn't appear like he even had an opportunity to pull his weapon," Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson said.
Skerski was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he died about midnight.
