Another sickening display of negroism. Since he's a negro, once he's released the media will become his greatest champion saying he's a victim of white repression and he was merely acting out of "black rage". "Black Rage" the all encompassing phrase to excuse negro's animal behaviour.

"KSDK - Normandy Police say 31-year-old Michael Owens beat, burned, and shot the dog that was his family's pet.

Sunday night, a family member brought the two-year-old female Schnauzer to an animal hospital. Investigators say Ci Ci had a broken jaw and was burned over more than 75% of her body, likely by Ammonia Chloride. The solution is normally used as a cleaning agent, or to treat clogged drains. X-rays also show that Ci Ci had been shot as many as twenty times by a pellet gun. The animal was still alive.

"Pretty lethargic, though," said Christine Bailey, of the Humane Society of Missouri. In describing photographs of the dog, taken before veterinary technicians put her to sleep, Bailey said, "You can see where they have the cooling bag between her paws, just to keep her comfortable, so her paws don't touch."

Normandy Police Detective Louis Porzelt speculated on when the alleged abuse took place.

"Sometime between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening," said Porzelt.

Owens is charged with animal abuse, a class-D felony, punishable by up to three years in jail. Investigators believe the abuse took place in the basement of the home Owens shared with his wife and children at Parchester and Ellington.

People wonder how a human being could allegedly do this to an animal. Investigators say the motive, in this case, was trying to hurt another human being.

Doug Lebert is Normandy Police Chief. Lebert said, "As a result of some other domestic issues, it is our belief that the suspect here was lashing out at the family, in some type of revenge-type motive."

Bailey said, "It's sad that people take whatever their problems are, or whatever their sicknesses are, out on these animals. The animals can't speak for themselves, they can't defend themselves, and they can't help themselves."

Owens is in St. Louis County Jail. His bond is set at $15,000.
