Neur and Dinka freed from Muslim oppression only to slaughter each other

For hundreds of years, Muslims in Northern Sudan have descended on the Dinka and Neur to kill and enslave them. Recently the international community split the country in half to protect the non-Muslim Dinkas and Neur.

In a shocking turn of events, the Dinka and Neur began slaughtering each other within months. The fighting is largely over who gets to control their newly found safe haven.

The biggest conflicts in the region are typically between Mulsims, who have small amount of Arab admixtures fighting, pure Sub-Saharan Africans who are non-Muslim, or Sub-Saharan Nilotics versus Sub-Saharan Bantus in the Great Large region of Africa.

The rate at which South Sudan exploded into civil war and genocide is especially shocking because both groups are closely related non-Muslim Nilotic people.
