A City Parks Department worker was busted for hanging a black baby doll from a noose at the agency’s Bronx headquarters, police said Thursday.

Fariz Ahmemulic, 28, was charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime in what is believed to have been an act to taunt a co-worker, authorities said.

Ahmemulic was arrested Wednesday.

The Daily News reported last week that the city worker who found the noose, Anthony Crum, claimed supervisors tried to cover up the Dec. 20 hate crime before police got involved. At the time of the story, Crum had yet to be interviewed by detectives from the NYPD’s hate crimes task force, his lawyer, Eric Sanders, said.

Crum, who is part Shinnecock and Blackfoot American Indian, is planning to sue the city for emotional distress. In court papers, he accused Ahmemulic and said the suspect admitted he hung the doll as a joke.
