Murder trial in homeless man's death set to begin

(LOUISVILLE) -- Expected in court Monday morning are three men accused of a murder that shocked a community in 2004.

In April of that year, brothers Derek and Dewayne Edmonds along with Tyreese Hall allegedly tried to rob Clifton Agnew, a homeless man, in a downtown Louisville alley.

After finding he only had 50-cents on him, police say the three men [color="Red"]beat and sodomized Agnew with bottles and sticks.

Agnew died two months later from his injuries.

The three men are charged with murder, sodomy, and robbery.

Their trial is set to begin Monday.
