Dawson Springs, Kentucky -- Five members of the National Socialist Movement who had been invited to speak at the Imperial Klans of America rally at Nordicfest were attacked tonight by approximately fifty members of the Vinlanders, Keystone State Skinheads and the Imperial Klans of America.

The National Socialist Movement has urged that the members who were attacked take legal action against Brien James, Ron Edwards and other individuals who were involved in the violence. The National Socialist Movement's leadership spoke tonight to the Kentucky State Police, who were prepared to arrest James, Edwards and others on charges of felony mob assault, but did not do so because the members who were attacked refused to press charges, despite orders from National Headquarters to the contrary.

The National Socialist Movement was aware of the potential for violence at Nordicfest. We were further aware that the National Socialist Movement had been invited to speak at Nordicfest under suspicious circumstances. As a result, none of our national leadership was in attendance and we had generally advised our members not to attend the event. Those members who did attend the event did so against our better judgment and at their own risk.

As a result of this attack, the National Socialist Movement announces that all members of the Keystone State Skinheads, the Vinlanders, and the Imperial Klans of America are hereby barred from all National Socialist Movement and NSM Records events. Further, National Socialist Movement comrades are prohibited from attending events hosted by or held in cooperation with any of those organizations. Individuals who violate this ban in the future will be subject to disciplinary action.

The Vinlanders, the Keystone State Skinheads and the Imperial Klans of America are not white nationalist organizations. They are criminal gangs who use white racial identity in the same way that black criminal gangs use black racial identity, and they are not a proper part of the movement. These types of criminal organizations have emerged in white nationalist movement in the past, and they have inevitably ended up bankrupted and jailed by the authorities. We hope the leadership of the Vinlanders, the Keystone State Skinheads and the Imperial Klans of America meet the same end.
