NSM Nevada State Leader Joshua Davenport Arrested In Las Vegas, Charged With Kidnapping And Raping 13-Year-Old Girl

A comment appended to a previous post alerted me to this story. Las Vegas media sources are reporting that on Saturday August 4th, 2012, Joshua Davenport was arrested by Las Vegas Metro Police and charged with kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl. However, none of the media sources reported his connection with the National Socialist Movement; this was later reported by the Anti-Defamation League and One People's Project.

The most detailed story was published by the Las Vegas Sun; other useful stories were published by KLAS Channel 8 and KVVU Channel 5. The girl's mother had left her apartment at Corner Stone Crossing about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday to run an errand, leaving the girl behind to do laundry in the laundry room at the apartment complex. When the mother returned home 30 minutes later, the girl was missing. A responding police officer canvassed the apartments and learned the girl was last seen talking to a white man with a bald head and numerous tattoos. A tenant led officers to a blue Ford two-door pickup truck subsequently determined to belong to Joshua Davenport.

Police knocked on Davenport's apartment door but there was no response and officers left. But the girl's family independently set up a perimeter outside the apartment. Shortly thereafter, police were called back to the apartment complex and commanded Davenport through a loud speaker to get out. He finally emerged around 5:30 A.M., was arrested and transported to Las Vegas Metro police headquarters, and subsequently booked into the Clark County Detention Center on four counts sexual assault of a victim under age 14, four counts of sexual assault with a deadly weapon, lewdness with a minor, battery with the intent to commit sexual assault and kidnapping. The official Clark County inmate record shows Davenport is being in lieu of $150,000 bail, and has a preliminary hearing set for September 6th.

The Girl's Story: The girl told officers she encountered the bald man with tattoos, subsequently identified as Davenport, on the laundry room. She said the man grabbed her by the neck and pointed a gun at her, telling her that they were going to his place and if she screamed, he would kill her. At Davenport's apartment, the girl said she was forced to remove her clothes and put on another set of clothing, take a number of pills and drink from a bottle of tequila. She told officers Davenport had tattoos of a devil face on top of his head and a swastika on his stomach. She said Davenport forced her to watch some movies in the living area. She attempted to escape when she saw he was asleep, but was stopped when he awoke and pointed a gun at her. She was also ordered to get in a back room when knocking occurred at the apartment. She was then ordered to go into a bedroom where Davenport committed the alleged assault. After Davenport fell asleep, the girl was able to leave the residence. The girl was treated at UMC, where a medical examination found signs of sexual trauma. A DNA test was ordered on Davenport and the girl, the results of which are pending

Joshua Davenport's Story: Davenport told police he had invited the girl to his place after noticing he had a fight with her boyfriend. He told police the girl and her boyfriend came to the apartment and went to a backroom for 45 minutes while he was in the living room. He told police the girl wished to stay. He denied any sexual contact with the girl and any forced abduction by gunpoint. Davenport also said he didn’t hear knocks on his door and added he didn’t wake up until he heard someone on a bullhorn calling him out of his apartment. A search of Davenport's apartment revealed the girl’s clothing in a plastic bag in the corner of his bedroom, along with other evidence said to be consistent with the girl’s story. Police also found a .22-caliber handgun. Police are hinting that Davenport may be connected to other crimes in the area.

The ADL reports that Dav*en*port has been an active mem*ber of the NSM since 2007, and has served as the Nevada state leader with the rank of SSgt since 2011. During this time, Dav*en*port organized or par*tic*i*pated in numer*ous NSM events in Nevada, Ari*zona and Cal*i*for*nia, includ*ing a num*ber of anti-illegal immigration events such as a June 2011 NSM protest dubbed “Reclaim the South*west” held to protest day laborers. The NSM has not officially reacted to Davenport's arrest.

Analysis: The DNA results will determine the direction of the case. If Davenport's DNA was found on the girl's private parts, his defense becomes much tougher -- and the presumption of innocence much weaker. While there's no reason for the NSM to expel Davenport from the organization at this time, there is good cause to remove him from his leadership position, since a leadership post requires a higher standard of behavior. It should be noted that Davenport has no prior criminal record reported.

I have to laugh when some fools think that having people who look as freaky as this creep, is supposedly better than nothing. Are NORMAL White people going to wish to associate with HIM? Is he going to ATTRACT or REPEL average White Americans? The fact that jeff schoep and the "nsm" could even make him a STATE LEADER is beyond understanding, until you realize they have ZERO sense of QUALITY CONTROL! Lets face it - HE'S GUILTY - no grown man, takes a 13 year old girl into his residence and has her remove her clothes, for ANY good reason. He may stay with her and call the cops, but thats the limit. And waiting for jeff schoep to respond to ANYTHING, is like waiting for my dog to poop gold nuggets - it ain't gonna happen.
