This Indian is causing a real nightmare for the state police. He is most likely on a reservation in western New York. If it is him that shot the police, what is believed to have set him off is that his daughter's kids were taken away from him by the state to "get at him" for escaping. A judge agreed what they did was wrong and ordered them to be returned.
A Southern Tier judge has ordered the return of fugitive Ralph "Bucky" Phillips' grandchildren to their mother. News 4's Lorey Schultz reports Patrina Wright temporarily lost custody last week after state police charged her with endangering her children by sheltering her fugitive father[NO PROOF].
Last Thursday, Wright's three children, aged five years, four years, and four weeks, were temporarily taken away and placed in the custody of Child Protective Services, after state police arrested her on child endangerment charges.
Investigators claim she recently allowed her father, who they believe is armed, to visit his grandchildren at their grandmother's home.

I live in WNY. This guy is embarrassing the inept, low-skilled, substandard cops.
There really isn't much crime in WNY (except for places like Buffalo), so these cops are inexperienced when it comes to dealing with guys like this (or guerrilla warfare, for that matter). Recently, the cops were telling people not to travel to two towns they thought he was in, and told the residents to stay inside.

If anyone, including cops, messed with my family, I would go berzerk.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, he escaped from prison by cutting through the ceiling with a can opener. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

You mean these guys?
Officers search a vehicle Saturday in Fredonia, N.Y., two days after two state troopers were shot while on a stakeout for a convict who escaped jail April 2.
Police from other New York communities have joined the search. The FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration and police agencies from Pennsylvania are also helping.

Thats them, Yankee_Jim!
Those cops better be careful, those speakers might jump out of that trunk and get them!
Why is the DEA involved? Is Bucky "takin' pot" or something?

The DEA is involved because he was in jail for the terrible crime of selling marijuana. He was denied visitation of his family, I believe, which is why he escaped. Something important to him was occurring in the family. This whole situation is really a great example of state tyranny. The state legislates morality and enforces it on the public. The state knows what is best for you!
Looks like the 4th Amendment doesn't apply in Western NY!
The police are allowed to search vehicles using a fixed check point if there is a "good reason" to. They are doing this to protect the safety of the community. :/
Michigan Dep't of State Police v. Sitz, 496 U.S. 444 (1990) (upholding a sobriety checkpoint at which all motorists are briefly stopped for preliminary questioning and observation for signs of intoxication).
See also United States v. Martinez-Fuerte, 428 U.S. 543 (1976) (upholding border patrol checkpoint, over 60 miles from the border, for questioning designed to apprehend illegal aliens).
I've seen quite a few of those so called injuns upstate. At best they are 1/4 or 1/8 injun.
BTW, fuck the police.

Being denied visitation of my family would make me go berzerk as well. At least he is kicking cop-ass!
I was watching the news, and one of the cops was on camera saying something like "I can't fathom why anyone would help this guy, especially after he shot police officers." I wanted to call him up and say "Because cops screw everybody over, so everyone hates cops, stupid!"

Many of them are really just self-hating trailor-trash, and wish that they were indian. They buy indian-crap from truck stops such as dreamcatchers, and paintings of indians with aryan features, etc. Some of them claim to be part-indian to receive some sort of government benefit (as was explained to me by a piece of trailor-trash).

I think that the police should be considered armed and dangerous. I think that Mr. Phillips is right and the Government is wrong and I hope that he keeps on dishing it out to Z.O.G. :box:
There is nothing wrong with executing so called "police officers" who criminally violate the Constitution and the rights of the average American.

I hope they shoot this scumbag and leave him where they find him. This jerk-off escaped with only 4 days left on a burglary conviction and sentence.
This is the first evidence I've seen in a long time that cops may actually do useful work, occasionally--Even if by accident.
Shoot that damn noisy boom box, cop, shoot it!!!
