Most people here are on the same page about it. The ones who approve are degenerates and don't have a clue why it's "ok" for it to be done. Even Alex won't comment.

As AE pointed out, this violates five years of Alex's policy and practice on graphics. Therefore I am hopeful this is truly an isolated incident - perhaps some sort of experiment or trial balloon. I am hopeful that Alex will come on board soon and apologize and promise never to allow it again. I have always admired Alex's writing and I am saddened to see things come to this.

What is wrong with their reaction? They saw something disgusting where it SHOULDN'T be and they reacted totally within reason. The only reason why this goes on is certain "wannabe" hardcore types tried to espouse alleged values of such actions, in true sycophantic form. That is why an explanation is demanded of those values. Other than that I think everone here would much rather settle for a simple removal of the photo and a "my bad" from Alex or whoever came up with that idea.

But as concerned supporters of VNN, we certainly have the right to offer suggestions/criticism when we see something that almost all of us agree is a major mistake. Check the poll results. This is an issue which has united me, MOMUS, JP Slovjanski, Doc, HG, Doppelhaken, and others who aren't always on the same page. There's something to be said for that. This is not the issue to circle the wagons on.

Those disagreements are part of what is driving this thread, not just the graphic question. There are other places to discuss those disagreements. They are using this incident to settle scores.

Bullshit. I have never complained about Linder save for a few comments about the intros long ago in the past. I've written articles on this site(that reminds me, it would be best if they were removed now), and I've usually had more problems with posters than with any of the mods.

Nice attempt at diversion but it won't work. Check the join dates and credentials of most of the people who you accuse of "whining" and think again.
