Gov. John Kasich proposes Holocaust memorial
COLUMBUS -- Gov. John Kasich wants Ohio to have its own Holocaust memorial inside the Statehouse in Columbus.
The governor proposed Wednesday at a ceremony building something inside the Statehouse Rotunda to teach people about man's inhumanity to man.
Kasich said the best example of that is what happened in the Holocaust.
The Columbus Dispatch reports Ohio Jewish Communities President Dick Weiland pledged that his organization would help put a Holocaust memorial together.
“...when their evil machinations have become too obvious for the general public to stomach.”
