Over 50 Russian invaders reportedly killed by Caucasus Mujahideen in ambush, media keep mum because of Olympics

23 June 2013

KC sources in the Russian-occupied Caucasus Emirate sent further reports on the battle which took place 10 kilometers (6 miles) south-east of the Chechen village of Bamut early morning on June 21.

None of either western or Russian news agencies covered the story.

It is to be recalled, that according to the Kavkaz Center sources, as a result of a series of successful ambush operations, 38 mercenaries from Russian internal police troops were killed and more than 100 others injured.

Later, it was reported that one of the groups of Mujahideen, who participated in the operation, was encircled by Russian soldiers in Achkhoi-Martan district. But on the night of June 22, the group managed to get out of the encirclement without giving a fight.

The KC sources report that the route, used by Mujahideen, was betrayed to Russian invaders by local hunters, who happened to be in the woods. They reported to the Russians that they had seen an armed group and revealed the direction they had gone.

By Saturday morning, when it became known that the Mujahideen managed to leave the encirclement, the Russians detained the hunters for questioning.

According to the KC sources, the information about the battle at Bamut was not made public in the west and east due to strict orders to block any negative news before the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. The "D-note" has been issued on any information about any anti-Russian military activity in North Caucasus.

In addition, it is well known that the Russian military command never reports fatalities and casualties among mercenaries. In Chechnya, it is a well known fact that the Russian helicopters drop the bodies of Russian mercenaries in mountain gorges and the corpses are never accounted for.

According to the sources citing the puppet police in Achkhoi-Martan district, even Russian puppets were not allowed to enter the area of battle, so that there would be no leaks on the tremendous Russian defeat.
