Palestinian Kills Israeli, Overturns Jerusalem Bus With Tractor

July 2 (Bloomberg) -- A Palestinian man commandeered a tractor on one of Jerusalem's main streets, hit and killed at least one Israeli and overturned a city bus before being shot dead, police said.

More than 30 passengers were hurt when the tractor turned the bus over on Jaffa Road shortly after noon local time, Israel Radio said.

``The terrorist got hold of a tractor and drove over a number of individuals before hitting the bus,'' police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said in a phone interview. ``Police arrived on the scene and shot and killed the terrorist.''
