Bible-Spouting Group Plans to Picket Amish Funerals

(CNSNews.com) - A Kansas-based group that says "God hates fags" plans to picket the funerals of the Amish girls killed by a disturbed man in Lancaster County, Pa.
The Westboro Baptist Church -- described as a hate group by the Anti-Defamation League -- has made a name for itself by picketing the funerals of U.S. troops killed in Iraq. The troops are dying as punishment for America's tolerance of homosexuality, the group says.
The Westboro group says the Amish school girls were "killed by a madman in punishment for Gov. Ed Rendell's blasphemous sins against Westboro Baptist Church.
"Gov. Ed Rendell -- speaking and acting in his official capacity to bind the State of Pennsylvania -- slandered and mocked and ridiculed and condemned Westboro Baptist Church on national Fox TV," the group says on its website.
"Rendell also revealed a conspiracy to employ the State's police powers to destroy WBC in order to silence WBC's Gospel message. Co-conspirators identified by Rendell included state officials, citizens, lawyers, legislators and media," the website says.
Westboro Baptist Church said it is "continuing to pray for even worse punishment upon Pennsylvania."
A number of states have passed laws to keep groups like Westboro away from grieving families at funerals, but last month, a federal judge ruled that a Kentucky law barring protests within 300 feet of military funerals and memorial services is too broad and may not be enforced.

There was a time when his antics were amusing like protesting semen-enthusiast Matthew Shepard's funeral. That was a long time ago.

In the eyes of a lemming anything he protests against is given an edge by the sheer force of his raging nuttiness. if the man had any sense of decency whatsoever he would not protest at the funerals of dead soldiers, he would be protesting outside of congress and the white house.

Yeah that was pretty funny. I also like how Phelps took apart the SPLC and faggot Dees. (not that that's particularly difficult thing to do). I really, really don't get the connection though, between 90% of the stuff they protest, and supposed infractions against a vengeful God. Oh well..That's X-insanity for you.

Phelps is nothing but a Zog agent told to do his antics to try and make white Christians look stupid. Phelps is a highly intelligent man of action, the media makes him look stupid, his sermons are not stupid, he knows, who,what, where, when why of what's going on. He uses the same outrageous tactics faggots and niggers use to bring attention to his message, good for him. If faggots can protest everything good and decent, and these idiots love them for it, then why won't they love Fred?

Subrosa, thanks for that post, as I had forgotton all about Pete Peter's for a couple of years now, yes he had said that about Phelps from early on. His radio show could be very topical too, for instance about three years ago he had a Pearl Harbor survior speak about the last two carrier's leaving on a Friday night Dec. 5th 1941 at 11:30 PM on yellow alert flank speed to the N.E. and the other two carrier's were already far away at Wake Island. Then Pete went on about F.D.R. if I remember right.
Some of his broadcast's on Shortwave would suprise any one and were worth hearing, for any W.N. He would take call's live on Shortwave and he I suppose is still on the net too.
