Saddam has some guts. Wouldn't be wonderful if bush and the tribelings who support the war claimed responsibility for all the civilians that have died as a result. Ah... just some wishful thinking I suppose.

Saddam may actually be one of the greatest Arab leaders of the 20th century. As vice president under his cousin Al-Bakr, he revolutionized agriculture and education, so much so in the latter field that he was given an award by UNESCO. The history of Iraq in the post WW2 era is no less than a tragedy on a massive scale- as his movement was repeatedly sabotaged by the US, Israel, and Iran(both pre and post-Shah).
