A FISHPONDS man who raped a 14-year-old girl has been jailed for seven years.

Stephen Bosco, 23, forced himself on the youngster after they went back to his flat, Bristol Crown Court heard.

The court heard the victim told Bosco she did not want sexual contact but he took advantage of her and the assault wrecked her life.

The court heard Bosco's partner was due to give birth to their baby daughter in July and spoke of his kindness to her. Bosco's partner was not only disappointed with his conviction, but has the difficult prospect of bringing up the baby alone without her "rock", Miss Collins said.
