Not after someone in his history class turned in an assignment covered with Nazi symbols and the messages "Jews will die" and "Jews will die on October 25th".
"'Jews will die soon, Jews will die with swastikas all over it.' The definition of that is a death threat," Kingberg says.
Kingberg is an Orthodox Jew. He and his wife Tina say they felt threatened by the note left on a student's desk, which was turned in by another student at the school.
"It used the word 'die' and gave a specific date, it was pretty unsettling," Tina Kingberg said.
Geoff Kingberg says he's been rudely questioned by students at the school about his religion and the Yarmulka he wears on his head.
Kingberg says a student wrote another anti-Semitic message earlier in the week, but quickly erased it.
"It was in the little space on the bottom of the chalkboard, a traditional chalkboard… 'I hate Jews'," Kingberg recounts.
The Pinellas County School District says hate speech of any kind isn't tolerated, and Boca Ciega's principal, along with a school resource officer are investigating the note left on the crossword puzzle assignment. They're not sure who wrote it.
