Gun Fight Outside Orlando Bar Kills 1 1 hour, 18 minutes ago

A man was shot in killed during an "all-out" gun battle in the parking lot of an Orlando sports bar early Monday, according to Local 6 News.

Investigators said a fight broke out between two men outside Connie's Sports Bar and Grill located on Oakridge and Rio Grande at about 2 a.m. Monday.

"They are telling us it was an all-out gun battle between a Hispanic man and a black man," Local 6 reporter Samantha Knapp said.

Police said the Hispanic man fired nearly 20 shots in the parking lot of the business before he collapsed after being hit by a bullet.

He later died from his injuries.

"We heard about five consecutive shots fired and everybody ducked," a witness said. "And we heard about 10 more shots after that. After a couple of minutes, we walked out and I drove across the street and called 911."

The other man involved in the shooting fled the scene and remained on the loose.

"There were probably five or six witnesses inside the bar," Orange County sheriff's Cmdr. Tom Cockriel said. "By the time we get through all of the interviews, we should have a good idea of whether this subject was known by the patrons or possibly frequented the bar."

Witnesses said the man who fled the area was last seen in a gray four-door sedan.
