“Israel sees Islam as the greatest danger to its dominance over the Middle East, itself built on cruelty, violation and oppression,” – Professor Benjamin Beit-Hallahmi (Haifa University) in his book ‘The Israeli Connection: Who Arms Israel and Why?’

It’s interesting to witness that when some of India’s important alies (the US, EU and Israel) are pushing for a ‘regime-change’ in Tehran for the dominance of the Zionist-regime in the region – New Delhi has recourting Tehran. On July 8-9, 2010 – an Iranian trade and commerce delegation headed by Sayyed Shamusddin Hosseini visited New Delhi. During the visit, India signed six commerce and technical cooperation pacts. However, Indian side was careful that not of these pacts cross line with the US-Israel_UN imposed fourth round of sanctions against the Islamic Republic recently.

India has a long history of enemity towards its Muslim neighbors (Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan) and has a shinning record of playing fiddle to the US and Israel. Last year India, under US pressure, backed down from the US$7.7 billion India-Pakistan-Iran (IPI) gasline project , which it signed in 1994. Earlier this year, Pakistan ignored US blackmailing and signed a contract with Islamic Iran to build a gas-pipe from Asalooyeh to Iranshahr, on Iran-Pakistan border. India, being offended by Washington’s courting of its number one enemy, China, to isolate Islamic Iran – is now trying to reset its priorities. In November 2009 – voted in favor of the German-sponsored resolution at the IAEA for referring Iran’s nuclear program to the UN Security Council for further ‘crippling sanctions’ against Tehran. Venezuela, Malaysia and Cuba voted against the resolution while Pakistan along with Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, Brazil and Afghanistan abstained.

As US-Israel have long been conspiring to bring Pakistan’s Gwadar (Balochistan) port under their control to use is as an end point for the Caspian Sea oil pipeline before shipment to the Haifa refinery in Israel. India, too, has its eyes set on the Chabahar port which can serve as an entry point for India’s outreach in both Afghanistan and Central Asia in case Pakistan closes India’s land route to Afghanistan.

In January 2010 – Jeff Gates posted a research column on the close relations between India and Israel.

“In April 2009, Tel Aviv signed a $1.1 billion agreement to provide New Delhi an advanced tactical air defense system developed by Raytheon, a U.S. defense contractor. That agreement confirmed what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had earlier announced: “Our ties with India don’t have any limitation….”

Israel has overtaken Russia as India’s chief arms supplier as New Delhi announced $50 billion in defense modernization outlays from 2007 to 2012. The fast emerging fact patterns suggest there is far more implied for Pakistan in this “special defense relationship” than meets the eye.

In August 2008, Ashkenazim General David Kezerashvili returned to his native Georgia from Tel Aviv to lead an assault on separatists in South Ossetia with the support of Tel Aviv-provided arms and military training provided by Israel Defense Forces.

The perception of Pakistani cooperation with “Islamic extremists” created the impression of enhanced insecurity and vulnerability for the U.S. and its allies. That perceived threat was widely reported by mainstream media as proof of the imminent perils of “militant Islam. With religious extremists portrayed as operating freely in a nuclear-armed Islamic state, Tel Aviv gained traction for its claim that a nuclear-Islamic Tehran posed an “existential threat” to the Jewish state. Meanwhile Israel’s election of an ultra-nationalist governing coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu further delayed resolution of the Israel-Palestine conflict……”

Can the Islamic regime in Tehran afford to trust India which has long maintained very close relations with its sworn enemies – the US and Israel?
